Pictures by Bill Claverly & narrated by Janet Wylie My grandfather owned a number of clubs and pubs before WW2, including Balmbras in the Cloth Market, of Blaydon Races fame, and Uncle Toms Cabin, an infamous sailors pub in North Shields.
